Welcome to Community Transport Waltham Forest

Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme (MiDAS)

This is a nationally recognised standard for the training and development of minibus drivers, certificated and valid for four years.

MiDAS Training will give you a skill with which you can earn a decent living or use to supplement your income on an occasional basis. If you are seeking employment (full or part time) or if you want to supplement your income or work voluntarily as part of the "Big Society" then we can provide you with the training you need. Just one day's work could more than pay for the cost of the training.

You may be on the "Work Programme" or going to JobCentrePlus. If you are then ask your advisor if you can have your training funded.

You may be retired and looking for an enjoyable way of investing your time in an interesting and worthwhile activity.

Once trained you can use your MiDAS training to benefit yourself and your community.
