Passenger Assistant Training Scheme (PATS)

A one and a half day course that has been developed out of MiDAS to improve safety standards for people who need assistance, care and supervision when travelling. The course is accredited by CTA UK and is certified for four years.

This course is available to any organisation that employs, uses or supplies passenger assistants (paid employees or volunteers).

PATS is a modular programme, as follows:

• Module A: The Role of the Passenger Assistant
• Module B: Assisting Passengers with Disabilities
• Module C1: Supervising Children/ Young People with Special Needs
• Module C2: Working with Adults who Require Special Care
