Service Update

We are currently seeking new sources of funding to support the Excursion Club. Please come back and check this page for news

During the summer months in 2010, we ran a new service for over 60s and people with mobility issues which offered scheduled outings in accessible vehicles to places such as Southend and Leigh on Sea and stately homes and river cruises. The trips ran from June to June 2011.

“Very interesting visit – more time would be good. Members were enjoying thoughts of childhood, food, games and mischief, wish it was closer to home” (The Reminiscence Centre)
