CTWF Embraces "The Big Society"

Community Transport Waltham Forest (CTWF) embraces "The Big Society" based, as it is, on its ethos of individuals volunteering to serve their community in meaningful and practical ways that are both enjoyable to the volunteers and highly empowering to those in the community which they serve.

Not only is our implementation of "The Big Society" beneficial to the community but, through our training programmes it can give the volunteer valuable, additional life skills that can be used both to the benefit of our community and to the benefit of the volunteer through additional potential employment opportunities.
